Contributions

BirdinginSpain.com organizes, leads and promotes birding and wildlife travel to northeast Spain. In 2006 we produced the birdwatching brochure "The Terres de l'Ebre: the birdwatcher's destination" for the Patronat de Turisme de les Terres de l'Ebre.

Scuacco Heron - Ebro Delta

Currently we are working on a sceme to promote birdwatching in Montsec for the Consorci del Montsec called "Wings over Montsec". The main elements of this are the Lammergeier Route and the Bonelli's Eagle Route – each one with 6 marked trails for walking and birding, and one for mountain bike enthusiasts. Informative leaflets are available on request.

Steve West is also the author of two books based on the birds of northeast Spain:

Where are the birds in Northeast Spain

Some customers' quotes

Here are some quotes from naturalists who have visited the Montsec Natural Hotspot with Steve West:

R.B., Bristol: "The main sites are all in easy reach...Steve was excellent. He knows his patch well and all the dirt roads so we got to places and saw birds you wouldn't find otherwise. It was much better than having a UK-based leader."

R.O., Exmouth: "The local knowledge of the area by Steve West is superb."

M.P., Derby: "Thanks for a very good birding trip. Steve was an excellent guide who was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable."

KB Hants: "Once again many thanks for your company, leadership, skills and knowledge."
