Gistaín to Aínsa

Birding between Aínsa in the south and Bielsa near the French border is more than just an experience; it's a privilege. This is the area with the highest density of Lammergeiers to be found anywhere in the world. With Añisclo and Revilla it also has magnificent gorges, as well as the lesser-known gateways into the National Park of Ordesa.

Further north there are secluded villages like San Juan de Plan or Gistaín, from where one can reach some of the best Pyrenean woodland habitats and the high pass of Sahún. If you have the opportunity of visiting this area, don't miss it!
