Aigüestortes National Park: West

The western approach to the National Park of Aigüestortes is via the Boí valley, declared a United Nations World Heritage Site for its fascinating Romanesque churches. To visit the park itself probably the best option is to contract  a 4x4 taxi and to walk back to the entrance. Another interesting area is on the edge of the park, past the village of Durro: green pastures, pinewoods and great views, as well as interesting mountain birds.
